Application Engineer
Job Description
We are currently providing support for Workgroup, Midrange Servers, Workstations, Storage and Operating System (Solaris, Linux and Windows) issues in the APAC region. We are running these operations 24/7 basis.
We are supporting the following products:
1> Enterprise Workgroup Servers Administration and Maintenance.
2> Enterprise Midrange Servers Administration and Maintenance.
3> Sun Fire Workgroup Servers Administration and Maintenance.
4> Sun Fire Midrange Servers Administration and Maintenance.
5> StorEdge Products (A1000, D1000, T3, T3+, A3500, A3310, A3510 FC, A6120 Arrays)
6> Veritas Volume Manager
7> Solaris 10 OS Administration and Maintenance.
8> Workstations (Sunblade 1000, 2000)
Dedicated set of engineers support Australia, New Zealand customers. We have two verticals catering to hardware and software related issues.
We also have a quality person reviewing and suggesting improvements relating to soft skills. Onsite client visits are periodically scheduled for the engineers along local field engineers to enhance engineers overall skill set.
